Welding Store
A new website helped this digitally un-native brand fuse new connections with customers.
The Who
WeldingStore had operated for more than half a century as Welding Industrial Supply Company (WISCO), a successful yet very digitally un-native brand serving welders and technicians with supplies and amazing customer service. Building on a tradition of quality and service, WISCO sought to spark online operations and serve a larger radius than its physical store allowed.
The Problem
WISCO needed a B2B ecommerce solution built from the ground up. And while a 70-year old welding business certainly knows a thing or two about forging bonds, digital connections were outside its expertise.
The Solution
Enter Uncap, always ready to bring the fire. Given the broad product catalog, a completely new website (weldingstore.com) was developed with custom collection filters, badges, feature sections and an enhanced navigation strategy. Additionally, reward and payment plan platforms were implemented for a best-in-class customer experience. It was a true online workshop.
The Results
- A completely new B2B ecommerce website
- A navigation strategy for excellent product discovery capabilities
- Additional software to support loyalty/rewards and payment installations
- Custom checkout scripts for optimized shipping and payment capabilities unique to customer groups
""Ultra professional, receptive, and helpful during the entire process. Creating a web store for my business was a new venture and unknown territory for us, Uncap has made it a breeze. The personal touch, and constant communication is what separates them from other companies with a 50+ person team where the attention to detail may be lost. Thanks to Denis and his team." Brandt DeVries, Director of Operations"
