ScooterWorks is the leading provider of scooters, parts, and accessories for both retail customers and authorized dealers, as well as the trusted brand for the riding community. The company’s ecommerce website had become a go-to resource for two-wheeled fun. However, with a wide (and growing) selection of parts and accessories for most scooters on the road, it needed some maintenance of its own.
The Problem
ScooterWorks’ existing ecommerce platform lacked the modern tools required for a seamless customer experience. Searching for parts was inefficient, inventory and pricing updates were manual, and B2B customers lacked tailored resources and functionality.
The Solution
To address these challenges, Uncap delivered a comprehensive overhaul of the ecommerce platform. A custom Year-Make-Model search was implemented to simplify product discovery, while shoppable diagrams allowed users to identify and purchase parts with ease. Integration with the company’s ERP system ensured inventory, pricing, and product information were always up to date. Additionally, ShipperHQ was incorporated to provide tailored shipping rates, and Shopify’s B2B features introduced tools such as catalogs and dealer resources to support authorized sellers. A blog migration from WordPress and a modernized theme rounded out the project, creating a fresh and functional user experience.
